**NOTE:  As we have been learning about ordinal numbers it has become clear that we all need a good refresher on regular numbers in French so the Unit 6 test will include a section on numbers 1-100.  If you need help remembering or pronouncing your numbers check out the resources below.

Today in class we will be:
1. Ordering numbers 1-100

2. Creating 5 mathematics problems using new vocabulary
= égale, font, ça fait
+ plus, et
- Moins
x Multiplié par, fois
/ Divisé par, Sur

3. Playing the card game 99 (taught to me by a student).
The Goal: to get to 99 but not over & to try to get others to go over 99
The play: Each person gets 4 cards.  Players take turns laying down a card and drawing a new card to replace it. As a person lays down their card they must say the number that their card and the previous ones add up to.  If you forget to pick up a card after you lay down you are out of luck and won't be able to recover it.  The first person who goes over 99 gets a letter of a word like (FRENCH), so they get an F and a new round is dealt.  The first person to spell out the entire word loses and the others continue until there is one person remaining who is then the winner
Some of the cards have special roles:
Ace= 1 ou 11
4= à l'envers (reverse)
9= la même (same/0)
10= moins 10 (less 10)
K= Continue à 99 (straight to 99)
