1. We will begin by introducing some new vocabulary including:
au Nord- to the North au Sud-to the South
à l'Est- to the East à l'Ouest-to the West
un fleuve- a river une montagne- a mountain
la mer- the sea L'océan (m)- an ocean
Une région- region Une ville- a city
2. Then we will be taking a look at a video called L'Hexagone (click for link) and responding to some basic questions as the person identifies some well known geographical landmarks in France.'
